In the British magazine Historic Gardens Review (issue 38, November 2018, p. 23–28) is presented the research into Count Tyszkiewicz family’s led to Lithuanian gardens designed by French landscape architect Edouard André at the end of the 19th century. It is the article by Mrs Lala Wilbraham „Nostalgia, Empathy and Hope“.


We would like to invite you to the International Conference Landscape Architecture in the Baltic States – a Century Retrospective and Future Perspectives.
The Conference will take place on the 12th October, 2018, at Aleksandras Stulginskis University, Kaunas-Akademija, Universiteto str. 8A. Detailed Invitation and a Draft program are enclosed.


The end of the summer 2018 will be crowned by an international event: twenty landscape architecture students and a dozen lecturers and practitioners from Estonia, Hungary, Poland, Holland, Germany and other countries will deepen professional skills for a week in Vilnius, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University.


Latvian Association of Landscape Architects organise the Baltic Sea Region – Landscape Architects  meeting and public lectures “Landscape Dimensions" – Landscape Architecture in the Baltic Sea Region. Meeting will be held on 11–13 May, 2018 in Riga city.


It is our great pleasure to invite you to the Conference “Landscape Architecture in the Baltic States – a Century Retrospective and Future Perspectives“, which will take place in Vilnius or Kaunas, Lithuania at the mi-October 2018. The Conference is hosted by the Lithuanian Association of Landscape Architects (LALA), Aleksandras Stulginskis University (ASU) and Klaipeda University (KU), and will be supported by the other organisms and entities of the Baltic States.


Meeting of EU-LAND21, TRANS-EUROPEAN EDUCATION FOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS Project Consortium was held on 20–21 November 2017 at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Land Surveying of the University of Agriculture in Krakow.


On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of J-C. A. Alphand (1817–1891), French Landscape Federation (FFP), ENSA Paris-La Villette, ENSP Versailles-Marseille and Municipality of Paris organise the Symposium or Colloquium “Great Pari(s) d’Alphand: creation and transmission of urban landscape” which will take place in Paris, at Paris City Hall, on 27–29 November 2017.
